The LIFE GENESYS consortium recently met at LABAQUA's facilities in Alicante to continue advancing the development of innovative solutions for the removal of contaminants and antimicrobial resistance from hospital wastewater.
Apria was represented by our colleagues Álvaro and Javier, who took part in the different activities organised throughout the two-day meeting.
The first day included a visit to LABAQUA's facilities, followed by a co-creation workshop where project partners worked together to identify challenges, explore opportunities and define future actions aimed at maximising the long-term impact of the project.
The second day was dedicated to the 4th Consortium Meeting and 2nd Executive Board Meeting. These sessions provided an opportunity to review progress achieved so far, coordinate activities across the different work packages and discuss the next technical and management milestones.
LIFE GENESYS brings together Cetaqua, LABAQUA, Aigües Sabadell, Institut d'Investigació i Innovació Parc Taulí (I3PT), Parc Taulí Hospital Universitari and Apria Systems with the aim of developing an innovative solution for the removal of antibiotics, resistant bacteria and antimicrobial resistance genes from hospital wastewater.
Meetings like this play a key role in strengthening collaboration among partners and ensuring the successful implementation of the project's activities.
