ELOXIRAS® is an innovative process for the treatment and reuse of marine and brackish water, developed to enhance productivity and reduce the environmental impact of recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS).
Based on the electrochemical oxidation technology, the objective is to convert total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) to N2 gas, avoiding the generation of nitrite and nitrate, and eliminating the need to use biofilters.Â
Additionally, thanks to its great disinfectant efficacy, specific disinfection technologies, such as ozone or ultraviolet can be omitted.

Regeneration of the water to be treated requires only a minimum salinity of 3 ppt and the application of an electric current, eliminating the need to add chemicals, gas or heat.

Considering its market applications, ELOXIRAS® is commercialized in three series (MINI, HYBRID and LOGISTIC), covering its integration in research facilities to logistic operations. Thanks to this, we offer our clients the possibility of creating a customized product adapted to the specific needs of their RAS.
MINI
Designed for small RAS facilities such as research centers or small hatcheries. It offers a compact and flexible system, with an adaptable treatment capacity from 1 to 30 kg feed/day.
HYBRID
Focused on full scale RAS facilities such as grow-out farms. It helps to increase productivity and reduce water consumption. It has a treatment capacity from 50 to 600 kg feed/day.
LOGISTIC
Aimed for transport operations by truck or wellboat from hatcheries to grow-out farms. It offers greater autonomy for longer distances, allowing a biomass capacity from 2,500 to 390,000 kg.
