Commissioning of the rainwater reuse pilot in the LIFE GREENLED project
The LIFE GREENLED project continues to progress with the commissioning of its first rainwater reuse system in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands.
On April 16 and 17, part of Apria’s engineering team travelled to the site to carry out the commissioning phase of the system.
The activities included the completion of electrical, hydraulic and telecommunication connections required to integrate Apria’s UV LED disinfection system with the BlueBloqs systems developed by FieldFactors.
In addition, leak and functional tests were performed, along with validation of plant interoperability. A training session was also delivered to the local technical team to ensure proper system operation.
This milestone represents an important step towards the development of innovative solutions for urban water reuse, contributing to more sustainable water management.
