RECOBATS – Kick-off-meeting

On February 20, the kick-off meeting of the RECOBATs project was held at the facilities of CETIM Technological Centre, in Culleredo (A Coruña). This meeting marked the beginning of an R&D initiative focused on developing a comprehensive and versatile strategy for the second life and recycling of lithium-ion batteries used in electromobility.

During the event, the partners of the 11 Spanish entities that are part of the consortium had the opportunity to get to know each other, exchange ideas and lay the foundations for the first steps of the project, which will last 48 months.

With RECOBATs, the consortium seeks to promote innovative solutions that optimize the use of these energy systems at the end of their useful life, thus promoting a more sustainable model for electric mobility.
