The project Safer, funded by Interreg Atlantic Area has been successfully concluded.
The main purpose of this project was to improve the innovation performance of the seafood sector by increasing technology adoption and transnational cooperation giving response to the challenges of a sector identified as high potential for the smart growth of the participant regions.
The role of Apria in this project was to implement water treatment pilots for the seafood industry.
As a result of the work, two pilot plants were installed in the Oceanographic Spanish Institute (Cantabria) and Cupimar (Cadiz).
