24 de September de 2024SUMMARY
Disruptive technologies for H2 generation and use
- Funding: Plan de recuperación para Europa NextGenerationEU
- Call: PERTE de EnergÃas Renovables, Hidrógeno Renovable y Almacenamiento
- Project code: PR-H2CVAL4-C2-2023-000066
- Budget: 2,578,387.99 €
- Period: August 2024– July 2027

OBJECTIVE
DisTecH2 aims to revolutionize the field of hydrogen production by designing photoelectrolyzers to scale up its production with sunlight powering the entire process.
In this sense, DisTecH2's technology pursues the implementation of a prototype panel consisting of 0G-PEC modular flow reactors whose simple design paves the way for mass production, while the use of SEA-based materials and the high solar-to-chemical conversion efficiencies that can be achieved ensure its competitiveness in the larger landscape of production technologies.

TIMELINE
The project, with a start date of August 2024, will present its final results in July 2027.
