ELOXIRAS® is an innovative process for the treatment and reuse of marine and brackish water, developed to enhance productivity and reduce the environmental impact of recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS).

Based on electrochemical oxidation technology, the objective is to convert total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) to N2 gas, avoiding the generation of nitrite and nitrate, and eliminating the need to use biofilters. 

Additionally, thanks to its great disinfectant efficacy, specific disinfection technologies, such as ozone or ultraviolet can be omitted.

Fundamental elements to implement ELOXIRAS®

Regeneration of the water to be treated requires only a minimum salinity of 3 ppt and the application of an electric current, eliminating the need to add chemicals, gas or heat.
