The project “UV-Cleaning: towards an innovative treatment of water using UV-C LED technology” has been proposed for funding under a program to promote the transfer of knowledge in research, promoted by the Directorate General of Universities, Research and Transfer of the Government of Cantabria.
The main objective of this collaboration proposal is to study the feasibility of improving treatment equipment based on photo-driven AOPs developed by APRIA through the implementation of an innovative light radiation emission source based on ultraviolet C light conductive fabrics. (UV-C).
The project proposes knowledge transfer through close collaboration between the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering of the University of Cantabria, with extensive experience in the field and adequate infrastructures, and APRIA Systems, an innovative SME with great interest in adopting the latest advances in photo-driven processes.
