We would like to thank the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance and the Regional Hydrogen Platform in Cantabria, for having accepted our joining request to their respective collaborative platforms, as a commitment to maintaining a relevant position in the development and improvement of innovative processes for the generation and use of sustainable hydrogen.
The European Clean Hydrogen Alliance aims at an ambitious deployment of hydrogen technologies by 2030, bringing together renewable and low-carbon hydrogen production, demand in industry, mobility and other sectors, and hydrogen transmission and distribution. With the alliance, the EU wants to build its global leadership in this domain, to support the EU’s commitment to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
On the other hand, the Regional Hydrogen Platform in Cantabria aims to integrate with all the Regional’s agents to create an ecosystem that allows Cantabria to become a pole of technological development in all areas of the renewable hydrogen value chain.
With this adhesion to both platforms, APRIA Systems reinforces its interest in taking part in one of the energy vectors with the greatest potential. APRIA Systems has already participated in different European projects related to the generation of hydrogen from waste streams “HYLANTIC” (https://www.hylantic.com/) and its application through fuel cells to promote urban mobility “PEMFC” (https://www.pemfc-sudoe.eu/index.php/en/). On the other hand, the hydrogen-powered urban bicycle designed by APRIA, received the first prize of the Aveiro Urban Challenges, in the urban mobility category.
