We are happy to announce that the project GreenLED “Nature and LED based rain water treatment for reuse in green cities” has been approved for funding by the call LIFE Climate 2022, launched by the European Commission.

The main goal of GreenLED is to increase the uptake of BlueBloqs, an engineered and nature-based water management solution for rainwater harvesting and long-term storage through combination with a novel LED UV disinfection technology.

GreenLED execution will be carried out by a consortium led by Field Factors BV and accounting with Junta de Compensación UZP2.03 Desarrollo del Este los AHIJONES, Gemeente Alphen aan den Rijn, Apria Systems SL, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and Technische Universiteit Delft.

The project will have a total duration of 48 months and has an approved budget above 4,920,000 €.
