The public company MARE presents in Comillas (Cantabria) the European project LIFE-3E, aimed at demonstrating innovative technologies to promote the reuse of treated wastewater and the recovery of blue energy by saline gradient. The project will be executed in a consortium that will include MARE, the University of Cantabria, CIMA, the IWAR Institute of Technische Universität Darmstadt and the Cantabrian SME APRIA Systems SL, funded by the European LIFE Programme with a budget of 1.7 million of euros. The presentation was attended by the Environment Minister of Cantabria, Guillermo Blanco, the General Manager of MARE, Chema Diaz, and the Vice-dean for Research at UC, Luigi dell’Olio.
APRIA Systems has proudly assumed the task of designing, building and commissioning the installation that will be used, during the project, to demonstrate these technologies.
