Last week, the training of the Life-3E pilot plant took place at Comillas (Spain).
The training was given by Apria – the project partner responsible for the design and construction of the system – at the WWTP of Comillas, where the pilot plant will be operated during the demonstration activities of the project.

During the training, the staff of MARE – responsible for the demonstration of the prototype – together with the UC and the staff of Aquarbe – concessionaire of the WWTP – were able to familiarize themselves with the handling and operation of the pilot plant, considering different configurations of the system, as well as its maintenance. This flexibility allows the technology to be studied under different scenarios and operating conditions.
