LUV2Innovate project “Innovative systems for the treatment of aqueous currents using photochemical processes with UV-C LEDs”, has been approved for funding by the call RETOS COLABORACIÓN 2019 from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The main objective of LUV2Innovate consists of evaluating the impact of LED UV-C technology application on the cost-effectiveness ratio of photochemical POAs, to determine their technical-economic feasibility compared to conventional alternatives.
LUV2Innovate project will be carried out by a consortium formed APRIA Systems as project coordinator, and the University of Cantabria, as a technological partner. The project will have a total duration of 33 months and has an approved budget of around 600,000 €.
