The LIFE-2-ACID project was launched at the Apria Systems facility. This European project coordinated by Apria Systems has the participation of the University of Cantabria, Universitat Politècnica de València, AIDIMME, AIAS, MARE and GALESA. The main objective of the LIFE-2-ACID project is the development of demonstration actions based on innovative technologies for the selective recovery of metal zinc and iron chloride from spent pickling acids (SPAs) generated in galvanizing processes.
