After almost three years of intense collaborative work with the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering of the University of Cantabria, the ImpulRAS project “Towards a techno-economic improvement of ELOXIRAS®: control and minimization of by-products” has been successfully completed. The proposed technical challenges have been accomplished, defining alternatives to minimize by-products, also opening up opportunities for new markets, such as freshwater aquaculture, with results that can be transferred to the ELOXIRAS® system.
