The container for the construction of the RED and EDBM pilot plants of the LIFE INDESAL project has arrived at our facilities.

The INDESAL project of the LIFE program aims to develop and demonstrate an integrated and circular seawater desalination scheme, with a lower carbon footprint than the conventional desalination process, that recovers energy and raw materials from the process.

This container, with dimensions of 6.1 x 2.4 x 2.6 m and a weight of about 3000 kg, has four mechanized openings and inside it will be built the reverse electrodialysis (RED) and bipolar membranes electrodialysis (EDBM) pilot plants as part of the tasks of Apria in the project.
