APRIA SYSTEMS OBTAINS FUNDING FROM I + C = + C 2018 - SODERCAN SUPPORT FOR R & D PROJECTS
LED4Future project: "New generation of photocatalytic UV-LED reactors for the elimination of persistent compounds from water", aims to develop, demonstrate and validate a new generation of photocatalytic reactors that will allow greater efficiency and effectiveness in the elimination of emerging compounds generated both in industrial processes as in urban effluents.

We are pleased to announce that the article 'Sustainable water treatment solutions for aquaculture', in which we recently collaborated with CORDIS (the European Commission's primary service for EU-funded research results) has been published in six languages. The article talks about our innovative technology ELOXIRAS® and has been included in the Results Pack on 'EU research and innovation driving sustainable seafood in Europe and beyond'.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 698494.
APRIA obtains funding from the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA)
European project SWAP «Decision support-based approach for sustainable water reuse application in agricultural production» has been selected for funding under the PRIMA programme to be undertaken in the frame of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. The aim of the project is to provide flexible and affordable wastewater treatment solutions specifically designed for crop irrigation, ensuring safe and sustainable valorisation with minimal ecological and agronomic impacts. DSWAP project is coordinated by the Agricultural Research Organization of Israel and has the participation of 10 entities from 7 countries.

New photocatalytic equipment with LED technology at pilot plant scale.
Shipped to Murcia East WWTP a pilot-scale plant equipment with LED photocatalysis technology. The equipment has two photoreactors with UV LEDs and a solar photoreactor with a compound parabolic concentrator (CPC), has a treatment capacity of up to 50 L/h, works continuously, and is fully automated. KET4F-Gas steering committee meeting
APRIA Systems attended the steering committee meeting of Interreg SUDOE ‘KET4F-Gas’ project held last 3rd December at the University of Clermont Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand (France). Project partners presented their advances and discussed about ongoing working plan before next meeting set on June 2019 in Santander.

Forward osmosis and pressure retarded osmosis plant for the University of Technology Sydney.
Shipped a forward osmosis (FO) and pressure retarded osmosis (PRO) equipment to the University of Technology Sydney. It has two exchangeable FO/PRO cells, high and low pressure pumps, jacketed tanks with conductivity control and regulation, and instrumentation for flow, pressure and temperature control.

PEMFC-SUDOE H2 bike prototype
H2 bike prototype developed by APRIA within European project PEMFC-SUDOE has been promoted last 21st November in Lisbon during the workshop “Challenges for the Implementation of Hydrogen as an Energy Vector in Portugal. Towards a RoadMap for Research, Development and Technology Innovation” organized in the framework of H2_PT project, coordinated by LNEG and co-financed by POSEUR.
Presentation of the Agency for Innovation and European Projects
APRIA Systems participated in the presentation of the Agency for Innovation and European Projects, formed by member companies of Consultants of Cantabria, on November 14. The Agency is headed by our manager, Pedro Gómez, and aims to offer consulting services to support those companies and entrepreneurs who want to establish business ideas based on innovation.

HYLANTIC Follow-up Meeting
Second follow-up meeting of the European project HYLANTIC “Atlantic Network for Renewable Generation and Supply of Hydrogen to promote high energy efficiency” took place in the University of Brest (France) last 6th November 2018. During the meeting, the eleven project partners presented their advances and discussed about future actions for the next meeting that will be held in Belfast on March 2019.
EOLUTION presented in AEDyR International Congress
The Spanish Desalination and Reuse Association (AEDyR), celebrated last October its XII International Congress. The event aims to offer an international forum attended by experts in water desalination, treatment and reuse. Numerous companies, public institutions, universities and research centres attended the event, in which the latest innovations were presented, thus promoting the exchange of knowledge, techniques and ideas. In this framework, the EOLUTION project, funded within the framework of the SODERCAN programme boosting R&DE actions, was presented within the framework of the congress, raising an interesting discussion on alternatives with greater implementation feasibility. EOLUTION aims to be an important step in the efficient treatment of liquid effluents.
