R&D regional funds

Actualmente se encuentran abiertas varias ayudas para Cantabria, con el fin de fomentar las actuaciones de I+D de las empresas. Las convocatorias son:

- I+D: realización de proyectos de I+D empresariales de carácter individual, dirigidos a incentivar la actividad investigadora en las empresas. Hasta 70% a fondo perdido.

-  INNOVA PLUS 2019: Pretende promover y facilitar el desarrollo de las medidas empresariales en materia de I+D+i, al tiempo que se apoya la puesta en marcha de productos y procesos de innovación cercanos al mercado. Subvención 50% a fondo perdido.

-  INDUSTRIA 4.0: apoyo a las empresas para desarrollar proyectos de implantación de soluciones en el ámbito de la Industria 4.0, mejorando procesos, productos y modelos de negocio, y con ello las capacidades de negocio de la empresa. Subvención hasta 50% a fondo perdido.

-  ECONOMÍA CIRCULAR: proyectos de Investigación Industrial cuyo objetivo sea reducir la generación de residuos y mejorar la eficiencia en el uso de los recursos materiales en la región. Subvención 50% a fondo perdido.

-  GRANDES PROYECTOS DE I+D: Proyectos de I+D empresariales que generen un importante efecto multiplicador y de innovación sobre la actividad productiva regional, y han de suponer la generación de una masa crítica de I+D de carácter interdisciplinar. Subvención hasta 20% a fondo perdido.

APRIA Systems, thanks to its close collaboration with the University to promote technology transfer, has been the company entitled to award the best Master Thesis in Chemical Engineering, received by the Engineer Laura Rancaño.

HYLANTIC Follow-up Meeting

Third follow-up meeting of the European project HYLANTIC “Atlantic Network for Renewable Generation and Supply of Hydrogen to promote high energy efficiency” took place in Ulster University (Belfast, Northern Ireland) last 12nd March 2019, hosted by Hydrogen Safety Engineering and Research (HySAFER). During the meeting, project partners presented their advances and discussed about future actions for the next meeting that will be held in Bristol (UK) next October 2019.

LED4Future project: "New generation of photocatalytic UV-LED reactors for the elimination of persistent compounds from water", aims to develop, demonstrate and validate a new generation of photocatalytic reactors that will allow greater efficiency and effectiveness in the elimination of emerging compounds generated both in industrial processes as in urban effluents.

We are pleased to announce that the article 'Sustainable water treatment solutions for aquaculture', in which we recently collaborated with CORDIS (the European Commission's primary service for EU-funded research results) has been published in six languages.  The article talks about our innovative technology ELOXIRAS® and has been included in the Results Pack on 'EU research and innovation driving sustainable seafood in Europe and beyond'.

APRIA obtains funding from the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA)

European project SWAP «Decision support-based approach for sustainable water reuse application in agricultural production» has been selected for funding under the PRIMA programme to be undertaken in the frame of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. The aim of the project is to provide flexible and affordable wastewater treatment solutions specifically designed for crop irrigation, ensuring safe and sustainable valorisation with minimal ecological and agronomic impacts. DSWAP project is coordinated by the Agricultural Research Organization of Israel and has the participation of 10 entities from 7 countries.

New photocatalytic equipment with LED technology at pilot plant scale.

Shipped to Murcia East WWTP a pilot-scale plant equipment with LED photocatalysis technology. The equipment has two photoreactors with UV LEDs and a solar photoreactor with a compound parabolic concentrator (CPC), has a treatment capacity of up to 50 L/h, works continuously, and is fully automated.
