The calls seeks for transnational collaborative projects, with 36-48 months duration and with an estamated budget of 2.5 M€ (70% funding rate for for-profit entities and 100% for non-profit entities). New photo-Fenton equipment with LED technology at pilot plant scale
A photo-Fenton solar equipment at pilot plant scale was sent to the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The equipment consists of two annular photoreactors with light source based on LED technology (UV and visible) and a CPC solar collector. It also has a filtration system formed by a prefiltration and a microfiltration. Finally, it includes two dosing systems, one for hydrogen peroxide and one for acid. More information:
Funds for implementing renewable energies and energy efficiency

APRIA Systems attends to the kick-off meeting of the project NewTechAqua
Leading universities and research centers met with key aquaculture business players on 21 and 22 January at the renowned University of Bologna to kick-start a new EU-funded research project: NewTechAqua.
The project will develop and validate technologically advanced, resilient and sustainable applications to support the expansion and diversification of the European aquaculture industry. The solutions developed by NewTechAqua partners will address no less than 11 fish and mollusc species, supporting the sector’s diversification with the creation of new products.
Due to our experience in the aquaculture sector, APRIA Systems was invited to participated in this meeting as a member of the advisory board of the project. Moreover, our innovative technology ELOXIRAS® will be used, as a part of the innovation goals of the project, for the treatment and reuse of marine water in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS).

New bioelectrochemical equipment at pilot plant scale.
APRIA Systems manufactures a bioelectrochemical cell for the experimentation of the VIOE- project, which is coordinated by DAM and in which the AINIA technology center collaborates. The VIOe- project aims to develop an innovative process for the effective valorization of organic matter and nutrients present in the sludge and wastewater of WWTP through the integration of anaerobic digestion with a third-generation bioelectrochemical process, to which an autotrophic aquatic biomass culture system is coupled (https://www.dam-aguas.es/portfolio-posts/vioe/).
Photochemical equipment with LED technology for the University of Cantabria.
Shipped to the University of Cantabria a photochemical equipment with LED technology at laboratory scale for research purposes. It is formed by a photoreactor that can work with two external lamps, one with UV light and another one with visible light. The LEDs have adjustable intensity and they are refrigerated by forced air convection.

APRIA Systems attended the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the Interreg Sudoe European project #KET4FGas hosted by FEUGA in Santiago de Compostela last 4th December. Working session "Incoterms 2020- News and most relevant changes"
Apria Systems participated in the working session "Incoterms 2020- News and most relevant changes" organized by the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Transport and Commerce through the International Promotion and Development Area of SODERCAN held last November 19, in the PCTCAN hall. During the session with more than 80 companies in the region, an analysis of the Incoterms 2020 was carried out from a practical point of view for foreign trade operations.
Conference “Aportando Valor al CO2”
On 2nd and 3rd of October APRIA Systems will be participating in the third edition of the Conference “Aportando Valor al CO2” in the REPSOL TECHNOLOGY LAB - Móstoles (Madrid), organized jointly by the Spanish Technology and Innovation Platforms of CO2 (PTECO2) and Sustainable Chemistry (SusChem-Spain), presenting the work done in the field of CO2 reduction, as a reference of the electrochemical and membrane product catalogue offered by the company.
During fifth follow-up meeting of the European HYLANTIC project, partners had the great opportunity to enjoy a sight-seeing trip on-board Hydrogenesis, the UK first hydrogen fuel cell ferry powered by Auriga Energy.
