Finished the installation of the new ELOXIRAS® prototype
The start-up of the new prototype of ELOXIRAS®, our innovative system for the treatment and reuse of seawater for the recirculation aquaculture industry, has been completed. Kick-off meeting LIFE-2-ACID Project
The LIFE-2-ACID project was launched at the Apria Systems facility. This European project coordinated by Apria Systems has the participation of the University of Cantabria, Universitat Politècnica de València, AIDIMME, AIAS, MARE and GALESA. The main objective of the LIFE-2-ACID project is the development of demonstration actions based on innovative technologies for the selective recovery of metal zinc and iron chloride from spent pickling acids (SPAs) generated in galvanizing processes.
APRIA SYSTEMS PARTICIPATES IN THE ELABORATION OF THE SUDOE KET4F-Gas PROJECT PHASE II
The KET4F-Gas Project has been one of the 46 projects selected to move to the second phase of the Interreg Sudoe Program of the 357 projects submitted in the first phase. The objective of the project is to mitigate the environmental impact of fluorinated gases using alternative solvents. APRIA Systems will collaborate by assessing the potential impact of less polluting alternative solvents for the reduction of F-gas emissions by implementing new environmentally sustainable technologies that promote the system's circular economy.
Spanish Embassy Reception in Chile
Apria Systems thanks the Spanish Embassy in Chile for the reception and lunch offered in the framework of the Commercial Mission promoted by SODERCAN, S.A. and the Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria from 9 to 15 July, aiming to promote the international promotion of companies from Cantabria in Chile.

APRIA Systems obtains funding for the LIFE-2-ACID Project in the LIFE Environment & Resource Efficiency 2016 call. APRIA Systems acts as coordinator of the 42-month project with the University of Cantabria, Universitat Politècnica de València, AIDIMME , AIAS, MARE and GALESA as participating partners.

Follow-up meeting of PEMFC-SUDOE project
Last Friday, June 23th, took place in Oporto (Portugal) the annual follow-up meeting of the project "Energetic Sustainability at the SUDOE Region: PEMFC-SUDOE Network". Project partners presented the progress made during the first year of the project. APRIA collaborates with the University of Cantabria, within WP 1, in the techno-economic evaluation of innovative alternatives for the generation of hydrogen from industrial effluents.
Preliminary Market Consultation - Bailin
APRIA Systems has attended the Preliminary Market Consultation Information Day opened by the Government of Aragon. The working day took place in Zaragoza on Tuesday 27th June with the participation of more than 40 entities. The aim of this Preliminary Market Consultation is to promote the participation of entities for submitting proposals of innovative solutions, focused on the Bailin ravine decontamination from the lindane production waste. APRIA has presented its capacities to collaborate in the remediation and management of the contaminants present in Bailin.
Delivery of a CO2 photo-reduction equipment to the University of Cantabria
Delivered to the University of Cantabria a continuous photo-reduction CO2 plant for laboratory scale tests. The plant includes a membrane module designed by APRIA Systems that allows the photocatalytic conversion of CO2 with photosensitive membranes using LED technology.

Apria Systems will participate in the Trade Mission to Chile 2017, to be held from July 9 to 15, organized by SODERCAN, S.A. and the Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria.As part of its business development and internationalization plan, Apria Systems will promote ELOXIRAS®, its innovative water treatment product, through a work agenda with potential clients, companies and organizations from the aquaculture sector in Chile.
APRIA Systems visited several WWTPs within the GRADISAL Project
Within the GRADISAL Project, APRIA Systems visited together with representatives of MARE and the University of Cantabria five WWTPs for the potential implementation of salinity gradient technology. The facilities visited were those of Castro Urdiales, Comillas, San Pantaleón, San Román de la Llanilla and San Vicente.
